iPhone users happier than Android smartphone users:
British Apple iPhone users are much happier than those who use choose GoogleAndroid smartphones, according to new data from analysts Nielsen.
Although the data revealed that more UK consumers chose Android smartphones in the past six months than any other, it said that 86 per cent of Apple iPhone owners were "highly satisfied" with their device than the averagesmartphone owner (72 per cent), The Telegraph reports.
Additionally, users of Apple iOS phones spend much higher on voice and data usage than those with Android. Just 24 per cent of Android owners spent, on average, over 30 pounds a month, compared to 61 per cent of iPhone owners, Nielsen claimed.
Over four in ten iPhone owners paid to download apps each month, compared to just 15 per cent of Android owners.
The latest figures indicate that over the last six months, Android phones accounted for 44 per cent of purchases, compared to BlackBerry at 25 per cent, Apple iOS at 18 per cent and Nokia'sSymbian at seven percent.
"The momentum is with Android at the moment, but to say which smartphone operating systems is ahead overall in the UK is statistically too close to call between Android and Apple iOS, with RIM and Symbian not far behind," Nielsen European telecoms managing director David Gosen, said.www.facebook.com/pages/TechadvancesbyTechnology/293331837349083!
