Among the several recent updates that significantly alter the way Facebook looks and functions, this might become the source of considerable consternation for many users- it is now far easier to detect those who removed you from their 'friend list'.

So far, the only way to know this was to visit the profile page of a friend and 

discover that you no longer had access to her personal details.

But with the addition of the 'Timeline' feature, users can easily find out which 

friend 'unfriended' them.

Timeline simply lists, in chronological order, 

all Facebook activities of a user ever since the time of activation of her account.

According to media reports, while the new design will go live on September 29, 

people have already succeeded in enabling the beta version.
